I used the elastic silicone bands to hold a 2 part 90 degree elbow silicone mold together for hot wax castings. Perfect for the job because the are easily to position on and off, have sufficient tension to hold the 2 part mold together and don't distort the molds curves.

A steaming hot chocolate from this beautiful 16 ounce cup is one of my daily Winter pleasures. I like my hot chocolates HOT and the band adds comfort temperature-wise and protects the cup in my bag when I’m on the move.

So I bought a second cup in case my first cup breaks because I will be devastated when it happens, and having a cup to replace it with will make it a little easier. My first cup was bought in late 2020, and it gets used almost daily, and it is still going strong. So it might be a while before I use my backup cup.
