Incredible piece, lovely team

I bought one of these teapots for a friend of mine after owning my own for 5 years (and counting). These teapots are stunning! Practical and gorgeous and the customer support team are literal angels. 10/10 would recommend

I love the quality of their pots they are very cute
My only suggestion will be tonhave an option to buy a wire mesh for loose leave teas as I couldn't use my pot until I got one as the ones I had didn't fit, wouldn't mind to have the option to purchase them from here too

I am so thrilled with my new Dorothy teapot. I have been lusting after it for 18 months but they didn’t have the colour I wanted in stock.

I finally have my beautiful teapot for my morning and evening tea rituals and this teapot makes me happy at the beginning and end of each day.

Cute and Handy

This is a small teapot, but I bought 2 belly mugs at the same time and I've found they're just the right size to get two cups of tea from this lovely pot.

I've been making myself a chai tea in this pot (using a tea infuser) and then pouring the tea into one of the belly mugs. With a squeeze of lime juice, it's just right and I get two belly cups worth of tea from it!

This is now my FAVOURITE tea pot!

Over the years I have acquired a fairly good collection of tea pots, but
none of them however come even close to being as gorgeous as this one!
It is a perfect shape and size for my afternoon (large) cup and a half.
The Raspberry Beret glaze is a truly lovely shade of pink: the hexagonal design sets off the glaze beautifully and the whole thing is finished off with my favourite part- the absolutely divine copper handles.
So happy that I found your teapots Pottery for the Planet!!!

Lovely, but strainer is not great for loose leaf

This is a beautiful and well-made teapot. Great pouring spout, and lovely glaze. The biggest drawback for us is the strainer. The strainer is designed as a series of holes in the ceramic where the spout meets the body. However, the holes are quite large and let through a lot of leaves. Also, it can be a bit awkward to clean the leaves out from the teapot afterwards (as opposed to a lift-out strainer basket like other teapots have). A noticable drawback for a $90 teapot - but it's still otherwise a great teapot.

I purchased the Dorothy teapot in the love potion colour palette and it now delights me every morning when I drink my chai. I love admiring the glaze, the cute size, the beautiful handles and the well fitting lid. If only there was a small matching cup in the same hexagonal style...

How big is this teapot?

Teapot sizes vary across the range. The Beth is the only teapot that comes in two sizes, Small (350ml, suited to one cup) and Large (1000ml, suited to four cups). The Tinkerbell is a compact solo teapot designed for one. Most other teapots in the range are a mid-to-larger size suited to two cups or more. Check the specifications on this product page for the exact capacity of the teapot you are looking at, keeping in mind that all dimensions are approximate as each piece is handmade.

Does it come with a lid?

Yes, every teapot comes with a matching ceramic lid. Most teapots in the range also have a macramé cord attached to the lid, which keeps it tethered to the pot while pouring so you never have to set it down mid-brew. Check the product photos and description for this specific teapot to confirm whether the macramé cord is included. All teapots feature an oversized handle for a comfortable, secure grip when pouring.

Is this suitable for loose leaf tea?

The teapots are designed with the ritual of loose leaf brewing in mind. We recommend using a separate tea strainer or infuser basket when pouring to catch the leaves. Check the individual product page for any style-specific notes on straining.

Will my teapot look exactly like the photo?

How do I care for my teapot?
